Trips and Visits

Trip to the park from Westwards Nursery LoughboroughWe go on regular trips and visits in the local area. We use nearby parks and often have great fun at them, especially in the autumn!

As well as experiencing the natural world on walks near nursery, we also visit a Forest School site owned by Loughborough University. At Forest School there are opportunities for all sorts of exciting activities to develop physical, communication and social and emotional skills. Some of the activities include den building, bug hunting, natural and transient art and mud pie making!

Westwards Nursery Loughborough Visiting the farmers' market in the town centreWe also go into the town centre in small groups to walk around, visit shops and experience the market.

As well as using the nearby area, we also go further afield. Please see the details of recent trips below. These will be updated as more take place so please check back!

More information about our trips and activities will be posted on our facebook page. Westwards Nursery | Promote your Page too

Trips and visits:

The Rainbow room toddlers had a great time at Twycross Zoo. It rained for most of the day, but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits!

The Sunshine room babies enjoyed their trip to Stonehurst farm. They saw lots of animals, fed the sheep, enjoyed playing on the tractor and in the Vardo and thoroughly explored the play area! See the photos below.
